User Experience (UX)
User Experience (UX) encompasses a broad range of disciplines. It is a design approach that asks a seemingly simple question: how do we want users to think, feel, and act when they interact with the product we designed?
To answer that seemingly simple question requires a detailed understanding of the two groups of stakeholders in the design of the product: the business that commissioned the product, and the customers or users of that product. Specifically, designing an effective UX demands knowledge of and insight into the crossroads between the needs of the business and the needs of its customers or users.
At Devlin Digital, we design websites and digital applications that deliver business outcomes by meeting user needs. We do this through a rigorous process of needs analysis and the application of our design and development expertise.
Our UX toolkit includes: business requirements gathering, user needs analysis, mental models, personas or user stories, use cases, content audit, content strategy, information architecture, user interface design, graphic design, usability testing, and the most up-to-date technology solutions.
A brand's digital user experience is an expression of a brand's promise. Increasingly, that digital user experience is the first intersection between a consumer and a brand. Getting that UX pitch perfect is mission-critical to a brand's success.
