Now this was a challenge, tight deadlines, a long list of enhancements, no existing code and literally hundreds of artists waiting to submit proposals. The result: simple, structured, easy on-line access to one of Toronto’s most vibrant, eclectic arts festivals. The site needed to hit the same vibe, provide platforms for artist submissions, improve zone maps, enable people to create a personalized map with routes of their own choosing, provide festival information and spread the word through social media options.
Like so many of our projects, collaboration was key and a good working relationship with Scotiabank’s App development partner proved invaluable. Devlin created a fast loading mobile site, with an interactive personal itinerary planner. What a night! In previous years, the Devlin team wrapped up and manned three installations ALL NIGHT (no, really and man oh man, was it cold). This year our task was to wander and tweet til the dawn chorus...
